Publication Charges / Waiver Policy

Open Access and Free Availability

The International Journal of Humanities, Social Sciences and Literary Research(IJHSLR) follows a fully open-access publication model, ensuring that all published research is freely accessible worldwide without any subscription or access fees.

Open Access Policy

• All articles are published under the CC BY 4.0 license, allowing readers to read, download, share, and reproduce the work, provided proper citation of the original source is maintained.
• Authors retain the copyright of their manuscripts and grant IJHSLR the right of first publication

Article Processing Charges (APC)

• To cover the costs of manuscript handling, peer review, online hosting, DOI assignment, and digital preservation, a nominal APC is applied after acceptance.
• Applicable Charges:
A. Indian Authors: ₹12,00 per accepted article
B. International Authors: $50 (USD) per accepted article
• No submission fee or page charges are applicable at any stage.
• Payment instructions will be shared with the corresponding author upon acceptance.
• Society members of the Academic Society for Humanities and Literary Research (ASHLR) will receive a 25% discount on the Article Processing Charges (APC).

Waiver Policy

• IJHSLR encourages participation from authors worldwide.
• Authors facing financial constraints or affiliated with institutions from low-income or lower-middle-income countries (as per World Bank classification) may apply for a partial or full waiver of APC.
• Waiver requests must be submitted at the time of manuscript submission with a brief justification.
• Waiver decisions are made by the Editorial Office independently of the peer review and editorial decision.

Submission Checklist

Before submission, ensure the following: • Manuscript prepared as per journal format
• Title page with complete author details
• Abstract and keywords included
• All figures and tables correctly numbered, captioned, and cited
• Equations correctly numbered
• References formatted according to APA 7
• Conflict of interest, funding, and data availability statements included
• All authors have approved the submission

Funding Acknowledgment

• Authors are encouraged to acknowledge any funding sources or institutional support used to cover publication charges.
• Corresponding authors must ensure compliance with funding agencies’ open-access policies.

Transparency and Integrity

• IJHSLR maintains a transparent fee structure with no hidden charges after acceptance.
• There are no additional charges for color figures, supplementary data, or special formatting.
